Privacy and Security
Revolutionary Security for a New Era
Our innovative software and AI technology are built from the ground up with privacy and security at their core. While we do not collect personal information from students, we implement advanced security measures to ensure your data remains safe and protected. Explore some of our key security features below, and refer to our policy links at the bottom of the page for more detailed information.
No Public AI Training
Unlike traditional AI models and services, your data is not stored or used to train public AI systems. Your information remains confidential and is not accessible to third parties for AI development purposes.
Secure and Isolated Systems
Our AI applications operate in a secure, isolated environment, separate from external commercial networks. Your data stays within our protected system and is neither used for training nor stored for use in public AI systems.
Compliance with Privacy Laws
We strictly adhere to federal and state privacy regulations, including FERPA and COPPA. For more details, please refer to our Data Policy below.
PII Safeguards
Student Story was built with security being our core foundation from day one. Our system automatically identifies and removes personally identifiable information (PII) from your submitted data. Enterprise accounts with a Data Agreement have access to administrator options to allow PII processing for internal tasks.
No Data Selling or Sharing
We do not sell, share, or disclose your data to any external parties.
Trusted Partners
In line with our commitment to data security, we minimize the use of third-party services to prevent unnecessary data movement. Our approach has enabled us to create a software platform that is isolated from unnecessary dependencies on outside vendors.
Security and Data Agreements
For enterprise accounts, we offer customized Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Data Processing Agreements (DPA) to address specific district needs and compliance requirements.
