Our platform was designed from the ground up with privacy, compliance, and security, as core principles. We do not share sell, or lease user information in any circumstance. User data is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models, nor is it exposed to publicly available systems. No Public AI Training
Unlike traditional AI models and services, your data is not stored or used to train public AI systems. Your information remains confidential and is not accessible to third parties or public AI models.

Secure and Isolated Systems
Our AI Models operate in a secure, isolated environment, separate from external commercial networks. Your data stays within our protected system and is neither used for training nor stored for use in public AI systems.

Compliance with Privacy Laws

Encryption & U.S. Storage
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and securely stored in the United States.

PII Safeguards
Student Story was built with security being our core foundation. Our system can identify and redact sensitive information from dozens of PII categories.

No Data Selling or Sharing
We do not sell, share, or disclose your data in any circumstance.

Data Deletion & Control
You retain full control of your data and can permanently delete projects or documents when you choose. When you remove documents from your file manager, they're also permanently deleted from our system. No copies are stored or retained.

In line with our commitment to data security, we minimize the use of third-party services to prevent unnecessary data movement. Our approach has enabled us to create a software platform that is isolated from unnecessary dependencies on outside vendors.

Security and Data Agreements
For enterprise accounts, we offer customized Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Data Processing Agreements (DPA) to address specific district needs and compliance requirements.
